real asexuality is different from what S#a a chat bout..sounds like she has a <span style="font-weight: bold">phobia </span>about sex...I think I've heard her state attraction to men at various times

i don't know that people turn asexual as opposed to being born that way..i was watching some shows on Discover Health about sexual attraction and all the forces at play (in our body) to make it work..and everything is so precise I could see how one likkle slip could throw everything off..nature not perfect you know...why do we have hermaphrodites..?

asexual implies that you have no interest in sex or desire for it. You wouldnt have any longings for a man even when you scared.

So, you are something else - by definition - but necessarily asexual.

but you seem to take comfort in the word, so be it.

counselling seems like a good option for you because you have fear in physical intimacy, not a lack of interest for it.

dr. sue says that asexuality is two fold, stemming from sexual trauma in childhood. one can engage in sexual intercourse and still be asexual because they don't feel anything; the other aspect is refraining from all sexual contact whatsoever. in any event it's the mark of a histrionic, narcissistic personality disorder.
