Fancy back in '97 I was a maid of honor for my best friend. When she asked me to be in the wedding - just like yuh said - me being a &quot;busty&quot; woman asked her not to choose any dresses that are designed for &quot;A&quot; cup women . Sure enough the dress she wanted us to wear was strapless and low cut.

I was paying for it... I asked her either she makes an exception for my dress or choose an entirely different one for all of us. She said everybody else like the dress. So as not to cause noh rackus I told her I could be an usher at the wedding . The point is, I am paying for it and I think I have the right to be confortable in the dress. If yuh cyan accomodate I understand.. But know that I will exit from the wedding party. Mi naah fight nobaddy ova dem wedding plans. Mi wi jus walk wey peacefully.

Fron that experience, when I was getting married I DID NOT choose dresses for the bridesmaid. I made them all go together and shop for their dresses - color an all. The men did the same. I cant imagine meking people wear sinting wey dem noh feel comfy in even if it is for 6 hrs. Dat noh right

you are so right Wendy

at this point i DO want to walk away but it would not be peaceful. She would me sooooo mad i couldnt even imagine. An usher or nothing will not do. the only way i could get of it is if for some reason one of the groomsmen couldnt be in the wedding.

and my major problem is that the other MOHs got to pick out theirs so why can't i pick out mine! If she picked a fugly dress for all of us then i wouldnt even complain. But for them to choose theirs and i can't choose mine cuz of her friend! it would be different is SHE didnt like the dress...but oh no...i'm getting all this BS cuz of her friend! WHO'S GETTING MARRIED HERE!

And THEN to top it all off, today we had a lunch and the exec asst forgot the rolls so she ask my friend to go get them for her. She didnt drive (cuz her fiance has the car) so i told her she could drive my truck. Tell me why the man told her NO that he would come and get her to take her to the store??? i was too thru

Well he calls what seems like every damn 15 minutes so i guess she mentioned it to him during one of his &quot;check on her calls&quot;
not 100% sure how she told him but once he knew it was a wrap. he came up here in his work clothes to take her before he went to work AND he came in and had lunch with her. no one else's SO was here

Well I think she is giving you the perfect opportunity to step away from her mess (even if it ugly to get away). Next thing you go witness to her death sentence? That is one wedding I would make sure I leave the country when it happening if I cant find a nice way to not go.

an a lot of ppl feel the same way but i kinda feel sorry for her that she has no one else on her side in this mess. so i dont pretend to like the fact that she is marrying him but i also dont talk bad about him or the wedding to her. when she is stressed and needs someone to talk to about it all no one else wants to hear it so i listen to her and let her talk about whatever is on her mind.
