Thanks for that. Me will pass this info on as I am sure they hadn't thought about it. I'm not sure what he planned to do in the Army but him uncle kept saying that him only want to join so him could go see the girl and not the world.

I'm confused, is Roan a US citizen? I assumed since he was in Jamaica and did the Cuban education, that he is a Jcan citizen, so I'm confused about the travel the world part.

I agree with his going to Ghana to practice dentistry and see where things go with his girlfriend. He may regret it if he doesnt at least try. Then the family may have other plans for the girlfriend, which will then make another decision for him!

I think it is good for his prospective patients that he decide against practice of dentistry too.
since he does not seem to have learned much.
he is so daft at this stage.

What could he have learned at that dental school??

he probably spent his time following the woman around, and nothing else. Roan is a Jamaican citizen.

OK here is the lowdown (straight from Roan's mouth)

Him became a member of the dental association and him mentor suggested that him join the Jamaica Defence (the Army, according to my uncle) . Anyhoo, him will be leaving for training camp on January 6th.

Him said that him will be shipped off to the England directly after, which is where him would be able to meet up with &quot;girlfriend&quot; who is a UK citizen.

See response above. His uncle said the Army but he said it is the Jamaica Defence Force or something of the sort.

I guess him thinking like any other &quot;TRICKED&quot; young man who join the forces. They do see the world, thru the gun barrel but nonetheless.

Many of my colleagues who work in Germany are only there because the military stationed them there. Otherwise, world? What world. We may disagree but I think that Roan is only doing what many young men and women have done before him and will do after him. Trying to make a dollar outta fifteen cents.

Roan is only 26 years old. Give the young man a break. Unlike you, he has his whole life ahead of him and has plenty of time to make mistakes. I can't see the reason for your insults.

Yes, they've talked. She is moving to Atlanta and he is still in NJ, heartbroken.

I feel bad for them both as they are both in a bad place emotionally, especially coming up to the holidays. They are both struggling but aim to move on.
