Yuh know DT, the funny thing is, whenever a man have a female &quot;friend&quot;, there is always a cloud in the sky when her name call in the course of a convo, however innocently.

OK, Tanz. Here's what I was trying to get across in the bar. Look, the love is new and relationships take time to work themselves out. Maybe this is a sign of control, maybe it is not. As it is his &quot;first offense&quot; then just use the experience to grow from it. (Mi noh mean fi soun like Oprah )

Maybe, for now, you should chalk this one up to poor communication -- he said it this way but he meant it another way. Many of us are kind of clumsy when we try to communicate our true feelings to someone we care deeply about and it just comes out all wrong .

Take a breather - a mini cooling off. Then the conversation you may need to have is something along the lines of 'here's what you said and here's how I took it to mean. You said .... and I took it to mean that you want to hinder me from continuing my friendships with Male Friend. Am I correct in thinking that this is what you mean?' Then let him respond. From there you may then say, 'I see how you can come to the conclusion you made. But can you see how I would interpret it? I am used to my good friends, male or female, supporting me and my supporting them. I really have no feelings towards my male friend. I feel so comfortable/confident/secure with you and our relationship that I feel that I can mention my friends to you ...blah, blah, blah.'

Tanz, if you've reached that point in the relationship where either of you have pledged love to each other and this is now a Serious Relationship, then you may reassure him of your love for him.

But still use this as &quot;Flag 1&quot; and move on. Let's see if he is able to move on too.

Agree...there is a difference between being <span style="font-weight: bold"> compromising </span> and being <span style="font-weight: bold"> compromised </span>. Big difference! I am not for the latter.
