That was later. The Bible makes it REALLY clear that Solomon pursued an immoral lifestyle and fell away from God. It also makes it clear that his son David committed fornication with Bathsheba. He had the same character flaw as his father.

Just because the Bible describes what went on and speaks boldly about the failings of human beings does not mean that these actions are condoned.

Don't look to Solomon and David's adultery and fornication as justification for immoral behaviour.

That's not true. It's one thing to be dating someone for a long time but when a guy takes you out one or 2 times or, in this case, you haven't even agreed for him to take you out and he makes indecent proposals...yes that's frog like behaviour.
