O did I mention that I registered for a course while I've been out on leave. As part of my benifits package I can take classes till god come ahn neva pay ah dime. Mi juss register ahn go. As long as mi get 85% and higher mi job pay fi it.

Well bakrah ahn im agents neva feel that mi should be on leave ahn be taking classes on di "jobs' dime".

ascarding to them something about it seemed "ethically unsettling".

I actually went to a campus..well a satalite (sp) center to take the class. it was closest to home. but my benefits cover anything...online, brick and mortar juss as long as di place is accredited and mi mek mi required grades.

Mommie ansa ahn mi hear she tell smaddy she will tek ah message.
she bring mi di message ahn is from smaddy name mi nu recognize, but di message seh dem calling from di "Area Office" ahn di number is from wi BOE.
anyhew mi heart drap cah mi seh...ah weh dis come dung pon mi. mi nu know nubody in Area Office. Mi ah wonda if di pikney score come back or smaddy parent ah challenge a grade weh mi sub leave. mi belly bottom stawt rumble.
mi calm miself long enough fi stawt check email, mi stawt look fi see if score report (for di exam weh mi kids just tek) come in...nutten. aye sah.

im wanted see how things were going with my leave.
im heard i was in the building a few times, but seemed to have missed me each time.
heard my son was going to grow up to be a heartbreaker
i should enjoy him while he is this age. they grow up so fast. he misses his own when they were that age.

so mi seh "ahem" in di phone fi give im chance fi cut to di chase.
im seh, "So is everything on schedule for you to return in the fall? I have your courses for next year and wanted to know if you wanted them."
Mi ansa back that mi will assume that they were the same as they were last fall and same times.
Im come back with "yes, that is what I was thinking. <span style="font-weight: bold">that is alright with you?</span>"
Mi ansa juss so, "Yes?" but mi sure im hear di in my voice.
im continue, "ILP you know there are evaluations every year and changes are made based on those evaluations. then student's projection needs, etc. well we are looking at some changes. I just wanted to make sure you were on board with your courses for next year."
So mi ask im point blank, "Are these my courses? Are they at the same time?"
im ansa yes, dem give one nervous giggle.
dem im go into some ray-ray bout im obligated to give me course before term end, im doing duty, more information about any and all (<--im words daht) possible staff developments that will be forthcoming. is it alright to send course projection in email or what do i want im to do?
mi tell im email it.
im wish mi long restful summer ahn heng up.

So mi heng up wid bakrah ahn trying to digest di conversation cah it strange indeed.
mi look pon di messige daht mommie tek earlier ahn get even more confused.
mi mek plans fi call return di call later.
mi neva get the chance, di phone ring.
it's...mi will call har Mistress Area Director Lady...is har secretary calling.
She was calling to give me the Mistress Area Director Lady cellie number cah she gwine outta di office and if mi call har she not gwine get di call till later.
So mi ask di secretary if she know what Mistress Area Director Lady might need from me. Of course she seh no but Mistress Area Director Lady is available can mi chat to har now?
Mi seh yes Di secretary tell mi fi hold on.
Mistress Area Director Lady pick up right away, "Hi There, ILP"
She gwan wid di howdy do, she hear mi out pon maternity, how's motherhood, am I in love, great news...blah-blah
Mi gwan wid har doh and she soon get to what mi wanted to know.
Here she: "ILP, You've been with us for awhile and you know at this time of year, central staff (meaning BOE) begins to finalize plans for students to return in August."
Mi seh: "Yes."
She continues, "Well we've (mi assumed she mean she and bakrah) been looking at making some changes at [insert name of mi school hereso]. How were things with your classes this year?"
Mi tell har fine. Kids worked hard. Getting them to exams was kind of hairy with me going out on leave, blah-blah.
She ask mi: "How do you think they did on exams this year? Any feedback?"
Mi tell she daht while mi nu know what them get yet, the kids felt positive about the exams. They felt prepared, but one never knows.Blah-blah-blah.
She goes on: "Well apart of the changes that we are looking to make is to expand your program add a few more sections. Your class seems to be very popular and parents are requesting more sections"
Mi is like:
She continue: "We've planned to add 6 more sections. But we know that a lot of intense training will have to occur before the courses can run in the fall."
Mi neva mean to but mi cut har off ahn seh: "I can't teach all of those sections alone?"
She replies: "Of course not, ILP. We were thinking of sending you to Level III training and then having <span style="text-decoration: underline">you</span> become the lead teacher for the added courses. What do you think about that?"
See me here: but mi seh, "Ok. Tell me, have you considered staffing?"
She says, "Yes. That's where the biggest changes will be. So that is why I am calling to discuss it with you first. <span style="font-weight: bold">Mr. Headman in charge (Bakrah) will be returning to the classroom, next year and I thought we would make him apart of your team.</span>"

suh him get "demoted"? (in the sense that him used to be admin and now returning to teach..not that being a teacher is a demotion and insert rest a disclaimer here)
