Now while I'll go along that short relaxed hair in a presentable manner is more trouble than keeping longer relaxed in a presentable manner, nothing has been more of a pain than my natural. Well, I might give the ex a pass in that it took almost a year for his locs to lock. That was a hassle for real.

I spend more time pressing and flat-ironing than I ever did even with a short cut. Given the work I'm putting in now, a short cut sounds easy.

Perhaps, I'm just not ready to go natural. Hair grows back so there is always time. But aside from liking the feel of the natural texture on my fingertips, I am not sure what the point is. I never wear a fro and I'm going on three good years of growing it out. Frankly, it is harder to manage.

GIRL! if nobody else dont feel you I feel you! mi juss stop weh mi natural hair. mi couldnt tek it afta bout 3 wks...maybe likkle longer. all dat flat ironing and mi haffi get dem Conair hot rollers fi curl it inna di mawnin before work too much work! so mi haffi agree a short cut easier mi juss go salon more often fi kip it looking tight
