Women Who Play Hard to Get

There is a woman I know who I have asked out a couple of times now and she has said no but she gives me signals that she may like me but I think she is playing hard to get.

<span style="font-weight: bold">I'm to old too jump through hoops for a woman.</span> I'm wondering what would happen if I use reverse psychology and turn the tables on her and start playing hard to get myself.

Do women like a challenge? Do they like to chase after something they think they can not have just like many men do?

I don't think that I would. I don't know what the rules are for dating these days, but I would think that the hard to get thing would come in a bit after you start dating (not accepting dates on short notice etc but not just right off the bat)

If I were you I wouldn't ask her out again.

I would ask her directly if shewould be interested in a date , from the answer i will know if she is interested or not, as you said ........... no need to be playing games

If she sees me sitting on my front patio she will stop to say hi. We make small talk about the usual stuff like the weather etc... but she is the one that makes a point of stopping to talk. But she doesn't want to go have lunch with me when I ask her. She says she is divorced.

Well Milo from my point of view......that is not a signal....at least not in my books.....I do that all the time with guys and it is exactly just that small talk.

Wondering now if guys see it as signal I was just being pleasant

But you have to understand that I live in a city where people are generally cold to one another so it is a little different here. Also, why would she bring up the fact that she is divorced?
