alright. aldoe more time on yahso mi post light hearted stuff.. dis time mi seriously a check fi productive feedback.
Not necessarily positive, but productive.
So long story short - mi have some (white) neighbours whey always a invite mi a dem house fi drink.
Now most time mi find a way fi nuh go, but sometime if dem outside wid a few people and mi a drive pass, and say mi just come from supermarlet, dem will shout mi like "xKs come over when u finish and have a beer'.
A few weeks ago mi get a voice message from di wife a invite wi fi come a wan surprise bday fi the husband. and how it would "really be nice" if wi did go.. So well
wi go.. But wi neva stay all night.. as usuall, wi leave aftr bout two hours, to dem a tell wi fi come back later.
now my wife is NOT a social animal. She nuh inna people. She di opposite a me wwhen it come on to the friend and company tjhing. She nuh inna di call and chit chat or vist thing. fi har friend dem always hafi call she and cuss har out. But just chue me seh .. yuh know wi need fi network inna di Canada yah.. she will come wid me, but in a few hr, she always meck wi leff.
Now the neighbour dem decent looking and popular. The wife was inna some beauty pagent a hamilton and di husband was some hockey has been.
Anyway sat nite.. mi plan a movie nite wid di family. So mi setup di projecta, get all the blankets and ready fi watch Superman returns wid the kids.
Well wifey she bex mi cause she upstairs ( a do a good thing still) a help mi daughter wi har homework. Now mi bex cause dem KNOW mi want to start di movie by 8PM so no later dan 10 di kids can go sleep.
8:30 and she still have the pickney a do homework. So mi get miserable, and teeth and tonge meet.
So mi hold a fresh and decide mi a go pon di road go a bramps go hang out wid a bredren.
Well as a di devil, mi phone ring and a di neighbour wife a call me a sey di husband would like mi fi come over fi beers.
Now mi did dun tell dem mi cut off beer a few months ago.. but chue mi did see dem earlier wid another bredren, who's siste is a eye doctor and she a link mi pon some shades (chue mi insurance) .. mi check seh well, mi can go cross and chit chat wid dem, probably dring ONE beer den flash go a bramps..
