As the founder of Jamaican Women of Washington, Inc. (JWoW) and president of the board of directors, Dr. Watson skillfully leads a team of volunteer professional women, all of Jamaican heritage, who have pledged to raise funds to help vulnerable citizens in Jamaica, the Caribbean, and Greater Washington, DC. Dr. Watson and the JWoW team firmly believe that as ordinary private citizens we must do public good and help those most in need of assistance.
<span style="font-weight: bold">Dr. Watson is a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School, St. Andrew, Jamaica; </span>Howard University, Washington, DC; New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Long Island, NY; Georgetown University School of Medicine, Family Practice Residency program; and the George Washington University School of Business and Public Management. She is married and lives with her husband and their twelve year old son in the District of Columbia.
