Shandra, sometimes they are right under their noses but some women are looking for a particular kind of husband who may or may not exist in their work/social circles. A lot of perfectly good men are overlooked because they don't fit a particular fantasy. A man with a college degree is nice I suppose, but there are a lot of good men out there who may have only a HS diploma and a blue collar job but who would make excellent fathers and providers but some women who are looking for a husband would not give them the time of day.

I agree with you...and further at the end of the day because we overlooked some really wonderful men while chasing that fantasy, we end up alone.

...but when Lady Z brought it to my attention that times had changed, I went a-researching only to find that "hooking up" is the latest where no commitment is required and people are just sleeping around...like it's going to finish before they can finish it.
