that's all I have to say...except that Pepper, if you think he is cool and enjoy hanging out with him then go for it. I don't think you would hook up with (as in sleep with) an effeminate straight man so what's the worry. Straight or gay you and him would never be more than friends.

one of 2 scenarios (a) tell him that you and your girlfriend are going to a gay club one night and ask him if him want come (here you are not explicitly telling him that you are gay or have a girlfriend). I think if he is gay he will be comfortable with this approach and open up to you more in terms of confirming whether him gay or not, provided yuh waan know.

This is what I told myself when I dated someone such, way back when...

Everyone wanted to know what I was doing with this 'obviously' gay dude. I thought he was just a 'touch' [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif[/img] effeminate... I rationalised that it's cause of where and with whom he worked why his wrist was so limp (Gawd, de man couldan kimbo esi [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70400-talktohand.gif[/img]) Friends would ask me if he grew up with mostly women (no he didn't)

I have never known him to date men or have I ever heard any rumours of him going there... He's had more women than there are words in this missive...

Yet.

I am convinced that he's not just effeminate, not just 'sessitive'. I am convinced that he's gay...

I think he's just a coward and because most of his friends are 'hard core' Jamaicans, he doesn't want to come out and say I prefer or would like to get with a man...
