Why worry about what men will think. How do you feel about yourself? To me that's more important. This is a choice you have made and you can change it when ever you choose to. You say you still have the same fears and reserve, that has kept you this way. What are your fears? If you feel 'stuck' then maybe you need to address your fears. Therepy? Talk to a close friend? Talk to your Mother?
I personally admire a woman who takes her time. Once it's gone darlin you can never get it back. Go easy on yourself.

To each their own, but I decided to physically share myself with the man at the moment when I turned 18 (he was 23) and I have had absolutely no regrets. We both decided that the time was right for "US".

I think it comes down to expectations. SEX does NOT equal LOVE!!!

Serenity! Please, please, please do not confuse the two. You will only live to regret a perfectly natural act.

quite commendable that you've stayed the big V for so long but you must be unhappy with your current status, hence the reason you are constantly thinking and commenting about it. I agree with you Seveen and I agree with you MarieK.

Over the years I find myself reflecting more about my life right around my birthday and in the past it got me into some deep hot water with others. They didn't understand and frankly I didn't understand why I got so deep right around my birthday either. Now I know I have Seveen's to blame. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif[/img]

Anyway, for Serenity it seems to be her top topic when she comes on the board. I have said this before and I have no regrets in saying it again...it's an attention thing for her. If that is her thing, then so be it.

I am trying to figure out if she is proud of being a virgin or ashamed. In the past, I've wondered if she is hoping to meet someone via this method but that's just my overthinking mind. Whatever it is, Serenity, from my heart, I honestly think you need to speak to someone, professionally. There is no shame in doing that, I had to do it early this year and I'm glad I did.
