Well even though Kaila was weak for robert at one point - she has proven herself to be a strong, self assured woman - if she walked away from him at one point I don;t think she would allow him to take advatage of her now...

I think that Robert being the cowatrd that he is would wait until she is alone and try to enter the house... not knowing that Kaila as part of her "being an island girl thing" got a gun and she shoots him thinking that he is an intruder... nto mortally just enough to ensure that he wont; be getting any more women pregnant...

and she and Ricky make mad love like rabbits, she gets pregnant and they live happilyu ever after...

OH - she forgives Vanessa -after all - Vanessa didn;t know and she more than anyone else knows how charismatic rObert can be - besides she has had a far better relationship with Vanessa than she ever had with Robert...

Vanessa is her baby's godmother...

Vanessa sat staring at the floor, she couldn't help but feel a bit relieved some weight had shifted from her shoulders. She looked up slowly to see Kaila staring at her, tears rolling down her face. "Get out!" Kaila said through clenched teeth.
"What? Kaila I know you're upset. I'm so sorry...you have to believe I didn't know who he was." Vanessa said between sobs.
"You made a fool out of me! I trusted you and you made a fool of me?!" Kaila turned her back to Vanessa and forcing her feet in front of her, walked over to the door and opened it. "Get out of my house, you whore!!!" Vanessa stood up slowly and walked towards the door, she stopped in front of Kaila.
"Just to let you know I was proud to be your assistant and your way more than a sister to me. I just wish we met under different circumstances. I always believed that people came into your life for one reason. Maybe Robert's reason was for me to meet you. For you to make a change in mine...That's just something I always wanted to say to you."
Kaila looked into her eyes and saw that she was speaking from the heart, but the hurt that balled itself up in her chest wouldn't allow her to accept it. "Please just go, you both have done enough damage." She said in a voice that sounded defeated. Just then Ricky came out of his room and walked up behind Kaila.
"What's going on. Why are you guys screamin'?" He said pulling a shirt over his head.
"I was just leaving, we had a disagreement." Vanessa said walking out the door.
"I think it's time you spent more time with your cousin, Ricky. She just got a vacation." Kaila said and turned and walked upstairs to get ready for a day at the office.
"What happened here?" Ricky asked turning to Vanessa. Vanessa body began to shake with the sobs escaping her. Ricky walked up to her and hugged her, "It'll be okay we'll talk about it at your apartment let me get my things together."

Kaila's staff was surprised to see her so soon and picking up the vibes she was giving out they weren't about to welcome her back. They went about the office as if she didn't leave. Later on that morning Robert showed up. Most of the staff recognized who she was and quickly diverted their eyes. He was all they needed to top off the crabby way the morning started. He walked up to the receptionists desk. "Kaila please."
The young woman sitting behind the counter sat up straight as she looked into the face of a ghost. "Robert..." She said clearing her throat. "Nice to see you again." She lied. "One moment while I let Ms. Richardson know your here." She walked briskly to the double doors down the hall and came back just as quickly. "She says you may go in." Robert walked into Kaila's office. It was beautiful. The wall behind her desk was one huge window. The grass and palm trees was very inviting. If someone didn't know better they'd take straight shot right through. There were couches instead of chairs, Kaila was always of fan of the cozy home feel.
"What is it that you want." Kaila said interrupting Robert from his observations.
"Kaila i've realized my wrongs, and i'm sorry. I wany you back. The woman I thought was my baby's mother turned out to be a liar. She could never be the woman you are."
"Oh that's makes lots of sense she seemed to be the woman for you some years ago."
"I know we all make stupid mistakes, but trust me baby I love you. I will never take you for granted again." Robert said getting close enough to grab her fingertips. Kaila jumped back as if she were burnt with fire.
"Oh so i'm guessing Vanessa was also a stupid mistake and the many other girls you used my name to get into bed?" Robert stepped back.
"So she told you?"
"Yes she told me. Your a dog Robert. A sleezy dog, how could you?"
"As I said we all make mistakes. How about we talk over dinner tonight?"
"How about you disappear from my life again?"
"Please give me a chance, baby." Robert walked towards her and grazed her cheek with his thumb. He pulled her close, but before the can get to kiss her she stomped on his foot. "You b****!"
"Now there's the Robert I know." Kaila said laughing.
"I think you broke my toe with those damn platforms!" He screamed. "Fine you want to play hard ball, then fine. Let me tell you why i'm really here."
"Finally the truth."
"I need 5 hundred thousand dollars." Kaila couldn't contain the humor she found in his request. She busted out laughing as she couldn't fathom the idea of giving Robert anything, much less money.
"Drop dead Robert."
"Come on. It's chump change to you. Your worth millions. By the way I help you get this far!!" He said the anger rising in his voice.
"Whatever, get out of my office before I call security."
"Fine call security! If you won't give me the money then the media will. You really shouldn't leave abortion papers hanging around, and think about the jackpot i'll hit when they see our homemade videos."
"You wouldn't?" Kaila said feeling her heart drop.
"Oh I would the goody two shoe image of yours will be sold. I am a dog Remember?" Kaila stood frozen as the last sentence rang in her ear. "My mind always told me those stuff will come in handy. I love being the packrat I am." Robert had a smug look on his face. "So what'll it be?"

some of your descriptions are wonderful - i can smell Ricky

Ricky stared out to the many fruit trees behind Vanessa's apartment. The cool breeze of the evening swept around them as they stood out on the balcony. "I don't know how you're gonna fix this one." Ricky said.
"Fix this? How can I fix this? I've ruined everything, my career, a friendship. What was I thinking?" Kaila said sitting down.
"You were thinking smart. Better she hear it from you than Robert, right? Listen, If Robert were to tell her how do you think she would react?"
"Um, let's see. A little bit like how she reacted this morning?"
"No. She probably would have kicked your butt, i'm sure this Robert guy would make it sound a lot deeper than it actually was. She just shocked right now that's all. We will wait until tomorrow and go by the house and see her, you know, when she cools down a little."
"If I know Kaila, she'll be at the office tomorrow. Do you ever realize that on mornings when you wake up and say 'this is how I wanted my life. Everything is perfect' is when something happens just to show you, that even you can lie to yourself."
"Vanessa stop kicking yourself. None of this is your fault. That Robert guy was a dark cloud waiting to release a thunderstorm. Come on let's go out and get something to eat. There's got to be a lot to do around here. Ease your mind until tomorrow. Vanessa got up and walked inside, Ricky followed.

Kaila sat in her office, watching the sun go down behind the palm trees. Tears ran down her face like a river. Everything she worked hard for was on the line. Her people will suffer for her own stupid mistakes. She turned around and placed her head on the table. She should probably call her popularity agent and let him know of the hurricane that was about to hit. She got up slowly and grabbed her purse and out to her SUV. As she unlocked her door she felt as if she was being watched. She looked to the dark side of the parking lot and saw noone. She jumped into the van and headed home.
Once home Kaila ran inside to start a bath to forget her troubles for a little bit.
Once Kaila was out of sight. Robert jumped out the back of the SUV. "My, my dear what an empire you've built for yourself" he said as he walked into the foyer of her house. "Beach for a backyard, nice." He said as he looked out her back window. "So stacked, but yet so selfish." He walked into her livingroom and browse the pictures she had displayed. He picked one up and began to whisper to it. "If I can have you back I won't want the money. I'll spend it with you darling. It must get lonely here sometimes. That gigantic shaq look a like you walk around with can't do for you what Robert does for you, we both know that, He ain't got tha swagga." Robert chuckled to himself as he laid the photo back in it's place. He headed upstairs and peered into Kaila's bedroom. She was nowhere to be seen. He walked in slowly and heard the sound of water splashing coming from the bathroom. He slowly walked up to the door. and peered at her through the small opening.
Kaila sat in the tub with candles burning along the wall and Enya playing from her radio. 'She looks so relaxed, so inviting' Robert thought as he felt himself getting excited.

Kaila heard a thud behind her and she quickly sprang up and looked toward the door. "Hello?" She asked her voice trembling. She slowly slipped out he bath and into her robe and sprang to her bedroom. The balcony door slammed together with the wind off the sea. "I don't remember opening this." Kaila said turning the lock on the doors. "I haven't been thinking straight all day, I hate my life."

Meanwhile below Robert ran around the house, down the driveway, and into the street where he waived down the cab. Once he caught his breathe, "The Radisson." He told the driver. "Now that I know where you live I have all the pieces I need, Kaila. Now it's your move."
"Wha yuh seh sar?!" The taxi driver yelled from up front.
"Not you i'm speaking to myself."
"Lawd mi pick up a mad man." The driver said as he turned onto the main road.

Kaila sat at her desk staring at Vanessa and Ricky who sat across from her. The tension in the room was thick and Ricky moved uneasily in his seat. "What is it that you two want."
"Don't speak to me like that Kaila please."
"Speak to you how?"
"Like you don't care." Vanessa said trying to control her tone.
"Maybe I don't. You never cared for me."
"Please Kaila that's a lie and you know it! I know i'm wrong and all I can say is that i'm sorry. I know it won't stop the stinging of betrayel that you feel. But that's all I can offer." Vanessa said coming around the desk. "Look me in the face and tell me that you believe I hurt you on purpose. Tell me that I did this intentionally and I'll go home right now. Back to the states, because I will no longer have anyone here." Vanessa stared at Kaila who stood up abruptly as she came around the desk.
Kaila stared at Vanessa and tried to hate her. She saw the innocence in her face and couldn't stop the tears from rolling out of her eyes. "He's a rotten pig, Vanessa. I'm sorry for the way I reacted I should've known better, but that was the last thing I expected to come from your mouth." They embraced eachother as Ricky let out a long sigh.
"I hate to dwell on the bad, but why is Robert here?" Vanessa grabbing Kleenex's for the both of them. Kaila explained their encounter yesterday.
"Noway! He can't get away with that! He can go to jail for that!"
"I know, but I have no proof."
"That sick bastard." Ricky said clenching his teeth. Kaila stared at him as she observed how handsome he looked when he was mad.
"What are you gonna do about it?" Vanessa asked. Kaila shrugged.
"What can I do? Deal with the heat when it gets here. I'm not giving him a dime. All I see him doing is running out of money and coming back to blackmail me again."
"Ask him to give you the tapes and paperwork." Vanessa suggested
"Who says he doesn't have copies?" Ricky said leaning his head back.
"Well we have to figure out something. This is your career we're talking about the media rips peoples lives apart. You will never regain your reputation." Vanessa said half begging.
"How about we go out for some lunch, you know speak away from the office, minimizes office gossip, it's enough that he showed up here." The girls grabbed their purses.
