my dear, the fact, and I say with full meaning, the fact that you are physically present in such "discussions"(probably with like minded friends) would make such discussions not merit water. Why? Well who would you be with as a white woman in the discussion? no corns noh waan mash and the guy would feverishly defend him "ras" status but others know much better.

Some of the Rastas that I speak of, I have known for many years and are good friends, or do you not think that to be possible?

Some of the discussions have been between bredren and I am not IN the conversation but within earshot....so, you think that the whole basis of their discussion was fabricated due to the fact of my presence?

a black man with a white woman has absolutely nothing to do with rasta teachings...rasta married his own woman of his own race but that is just his example...he never condemned anyone for marrying outside the race as we are still all human beings...
that sai, your choice of mate can be a complicated thing & just because a ras has a white woman doesn't necessarily conclude that he is a 'sellout'...
naturally he will be viewed differently by people who assume ras is all about black upliftment & will be judged accordingly but jah seh leave all judgement to him...
it depends on the person...like when i hear clarence thomas talk, he says he's a man first, then a black man...so when i see his wife & she's white, i form a conclusion...is he a sellout? maybe, i don't know...
but it is possible for a man to have a white wife & be a good black leader (though he'll be ridiculed in some quarters naturally) just as it is possible for a black man to have a black wife & sell his people down the river... </div></div>

Mi neva seh mi deh wid a Rasta neida. I am not a Rasta either but have been exposed to the reasoning fi lang time. I'm merely stating what I have heard during the last 20 years of my exposure is, for the most part, what Jah Yout has said in the sellout tred.
