As he said he would, the gentleman called on Monday, invited the lady to a nice tavern on Thursday where they enjoyed a good laugh at his earlier demise.

The lady wouldn't mind paying taxi fare. She always walks with vex money as her mother taught her decades ago.

Yes this has happened to me 2X. The first time the man called me and told me what happened and went home and got it.

I am thinking in some instances it may be a lie. Guy meets you, isn't into you or realizes you are not the type and he doesn't want to waste any time or money on you. Men am I on to something?
