Well I suppose I can understand how/why some people would do it....because of the kids....to give the impression of acceptance and what ever that word it.


If I were to marry someone who was previously married and who had children under the age of majority I would be okay with her being at the wedding and giving a toast if HE wanted her to.

I can see where it might ease the transiton with the kids

Exactly. A non-existing one is the only one. I would not invite an ex to my wedding. Why rub it in his face?
