or if she has complimented you on a cologne you wear get her the female version.

or ever better still I say a sampler box that you can get with a gift card for her to get what she like good luck

well you might get something that stinks on her

what is her favrite scent ? rose, gardenia etc etc...from there just have one custom made at the parfumiere (sp)

Just take her to the store and tell her you feel like treating her to some perfume. Like Gen said people have different chemistries. My ex boss always would compliment my perfumes, on her birthday I treated her to one of them. When she wore it, it didn't even smell the same.

Or if you have been to her house try to observe which perfume she is almost running out of. That's the way my husband shops for me.

this makes the most sense. What smells good in a bottle, doesnt necessarily smell the same on every person. Plus ppl are attracted to different kinds of scents, so it is highly personal.

Unless you know what kind of perfume I like, I wouldnt want one as a gift. Perfume is a personal statement and unless you really know what she likes, I would buy a gift certificate for that and get her one next present.

But I think I'll go with Nylah's suggestion. I have no idea what scent she would like so a gift card is the way to go.

i would enjoy what ever fragrance my man picked out for me

especially if he took the time to buy something he enjoyed smelling

i don't like gift certificates

maybe go with her like Boopie suggested. And then for the future (cause u do plan to have future time together right?) you will have an idea of what she likes.

But still get her one next present that you picked out on your own

Sorry, but I think this perfume stinks to high heaven. Just like clothing you have your spring scents, summer scents and winter scents. I have had many saleswomen try to get me to smell and buy something that they like or what everybody is buying. I love perfume, my bathroom and dressers look like the store counters. Besides most men haven't a clue on what to buy, they just know you love perfume trying to be nice. Sales women will try to sell you anything, xmas is coming soon they will be in full force trying to spritz you down with some stinky mess they're trying to promote.

Gift certificates are the way to go, at least you can get what you want and love.
