I always dress up. Yuh can dress up and still look comfortable and feel comfortable. Mi wi "dress down" a dress or skirt with comfortable and nicely designed flat shoes or flip flops. And you can "dress up" some jeans with some nice heels and a nice purse and still be comfortable.

Like Zed said, yuh accessories (bag, jewelry, shoes) mek yuh outfit, nuh matta wah yuh a wear.

If mi know seh mi have pickney fi run afta inna airport though mi naw wear nuh heels. Dat nuh mek nuh sense. But inna mi pre-pickiney days, mi woulda dress to puss back foot. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Same thing I do...de moas mi wear is a sweatsuit or jeans and a nice top, but mi accessories are what counts...cawse all sometime mi guh with mi hair wrap with the pins, depending on how early my flight is.

Once long ago, I tried this and dem had to met me at Kennedy Airport. Dem nearly mad and seh ah how mi cudda wear sweat suit... but it did stylish and from France...it was quite cute... [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Mi move awn from dat to pearls and jeans.
Now, mi not even sure ...oh yes,... ethnic wear.

When mi a guh ah yawd..mi wear jeans an wan nice top..matching bag an shoes....an minimal jewelry...cyaan bay fi si peeple looking like a walking jewelarama ah di airport..

mi usually get a deep wave weave that looks better the older it gets...plus mi fine out that, that hair is ideal fi all types of wedda...
