Den dem used to have a piece a stick mi used to see people chew up innah dem mout till it look like soap froth,seh dem use it fe clean dem teet,an mi hear seh charcoal was good fe yu teet dem as well.

what about the cream from the reshly scaled cow's milk.
I did get the coconut oil on my sin but got it in my hair. they even use to boil the coconut oil with wax for hair oil

a all de rubbing up wid the cocanat oil and such mek wi complexion such nice now u know,,,,as for the wooden toothbrush, my husband is fram somalia and when de whole family a dem come to canada dem brought with dem the same sticks to brush their teeth, i was shocked but it works, even better than manmade toothbrush and toothpaste, for real, dem teeth a de whitest teeth i ever see.

wi still go dentist though, fi check up.

The stick "thing" olt time people use to brush your teeth is called "chew stick". It cleans your teeth and makes it white, no cavities especially in the country parts where dentists were not readily accessible.
