I can make the beads but do not have the tool to core them. However, they seem to be growing in popularity so I'm thinking of buying the coring tool. I already have the mandrel on which to make the bigger hole. I've been making the beads for awhile but since so many went in this direction I sort of went in another.

I'm not advertising I'm just showing an example here...this bead has the same size hole but I'm making bigger ones. I'm also doing the same thing with smaller width/pandora style...yes, one of MY beads here:



I'm dangling the Chinese coins with holes and also using drilled coins and hanging them on leather. I love the big hole beads as they are so versatile! You can do a lot with them. Geeze, all of a sudden I want to core them with sterling.

OH...btw, just because someone puts .925 sterling on etsy, does not mean it is .925 sterling silver either! There are people using that number as a brand. Guess what...they come from the far east! It really is a buyer beware thing.

Nylah I didn't forget! I got busy and thought you must have gotten busy as well but the one color was out at the bead store. I'm making a trip to the Mpls area in the next week so I can look for the color there, let me know!

mmm. there are lots of beading shops with all the tools/ semi precious jewels/ tools here.

nanook may not live in a nabe with a large chinese enclave.

I mentioned earlier about the person I read who posted about getting a cheap knock off pandora style bracelet that was broken.

They wrote to the seller and this is the response!
