Mi agree wid Tulip...Dominicans (nor Haitians) nuh fi a cut hair, unless it's trimmin the split ends Dem best wid moving the customers in and out quickly with their wash and sets and relaxers

Mi know say dem ah nuh stylist - as mi say it was a quick fix to get a diffrent look to de morticia adams heng dung look.

Jazz, a so when dem dominicans deh done wid ur hair, it flat...u haffe go wait till it get likkle dirty and have body fe a swing it my girl, u look good yaa, nuh pay tuffhead nuh mind, u dun know har head come and go, she juss feget say u is a petite smaddy~~Comment

I would have made them roll it with the bobby pins once they blew it out. Once you let it out, you would have had FANTABULOUS bounce.Comment

LOL - Anty Cntry yuh si mi lool like mi ah pay Tuffy nuh mine - mi ah go use some ah de hot rollas dem fe lif it up dis weekend - we shall see - but so far I am enjoying it flat or not - it's a diff look and i needed a chnage up.Comment

Tanks Shine eye Girl - is true that would have been nice mi ah go try achieve sitten similar wid de hot rollas dis weekend... mi nevva have time fe tarry wid dem I was in and out. It took them 1 hr and 15 mins to wash, cut and blow mi hair and let mi tell yuh - fe mi hair nuh easy fe hangle... it ongle look tame afta de blowing and flat iron done wid it.

I know my experience at a Dominican salon won't be the same as all, but I did fall asleep under the dryer with the rollers. The rollers were so big that my head could never even have bobbed. So then after taking the rollers out, I got to go back under there again for what appears to be a wrap? They could not have done that in the first place?
I guess the biggest prob was having heard how they did such a great job and not getting it.Comment

It would take MUCH longer to dry if dem wet wrap. But you could also open ur mouth an tell them you want to wet wrap it instead of roller-wrapping.
I go to Haitians down here $20 wash n set, but when I am in ATL, mi go one dominican salon off lawrenceville hgwy.
