That is abuse Sue & Dajah. My Mom was rough on me when washing and combing my hair too. Our hair is our fault. Since many of us were traumatized no wonder we have "issues".

yuh noh! right now me a try lock it up and it naw much lock and me decide say me naw mind no so-called locktician and gi dem hummucheen dallas, so me jus wash it and tie it up and galang bout me business.

i have really thick hair and its average "black" length. even wen i just let it grow out a little while i have braids it painfull

I agree with every word you say... All the torture i went through and still undergoing because it natural [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70394-bawlout.gif[/img] but i find a way out...i just wash it with the corn row in then pull then out one by one and redo and oil so i don't have to deal with the drama..it hurts a bit but much less...can't bother go hair dresser to perm and it going to drop out bit by bit so waste of time...just fling on mi wig and gone bout mi business....
