I used to have long long long blonde hair before my cancer. Chemo took care of that real quick. Now, short hair and whatever blonde color it might be...it does get really bleached out when in Ja...comes from a bottle from the store and whatever happens to be on sale at the moment.

No hair dying here either. I've got a fun Bonnie Raitt streak that I've been cultivating for what seems to be forever. I love the silver, it shines and sparkles. Wanda, sounds as though your's must too after the post office guy, never mind the busy body woman at work.

The dye is chemicals that all seep into your head. It's bad for your hair and if your hair is fine it will damage it unless you go to a salon like Aveda that uses more gentle products. I've dyed my hair in the distant past, years ago. All it did was strip it of color and leave it fried, even at Aveda. It's so fine dye just eats it up so Wanda if your hair is very fine do not dye it or you'll probably end up needing a haircut.

I shave my head and have done for almost 14 years so not much to see, but I'm at the salt and pepper stage now. Can't wait til it goes completely white. naturaly gray hair resists hair dye and should be done professionally ..even so do it with care , especailly if ur hair s fine or thin..
I empathize with yu..am on the brink of my that same decision myself .. the grey is at y temples ...yuck!! hardly sexy ..
in men it looKs distinguished !

it was hard to find.. there was a trend for a while where everyone had henna in their hair..

now it's easier to go to the drugstore & pick up hair color than to hunt for henna

i seemed to remember the henna gave my hair a redder tint and it appeared drier.

with the Feria I dont notice a difference.. just the color because I dont do a lot with it (blow drying, hot curling etc) in the 1st place.

... have not coloured my hair for about eight weeks now [img]/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img] liking the darker roots with some grey [img]/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img] think i just may let it go, well other than dash in some henna every now and agen, but no more dyes [img]/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img]
