there was a bit of a gasp as william and kate committed their first faux pas of the canadian tour: they didnt immediately put on the white cowboy hats that the calgary mayor gave them.



will put on his hat later at the opening for the calgary stampede. not sure if kate attended, or if she ever wore her own white hat.

She wore her hat I (saw it on TV)... She had to hold on to the pretty yellow dress at one point as the breeze wanted to disgrace her. I wished they had focused a little on the cowboy boots that were made for them (as in with them actually wearing them). I like the girl but on the live images on the tv... her mawganiss worst than just the still pics.

So, i believe this is the last of their Canadian public appearances. the Canadian adventure tour comes to an end, and the couple have become firmly lodged in the hearts of their canadian subjects. mission accomplished, lol!

they're off to Los Angeles today for a round of hobnobbing with the rich and famous, very different vibe from their Canadian tour. I'll see if I can post some pix, Kate's style I think will have to make the leap from the informal, retread dresses she favoured the canadians with. we'll see.

Ok, I'm going to speak up on behalf of Kate's size. I think she's shaped up nice. Big or small, you can slide by better if you're little in the middle and poke out other places.

Now, I realize I am desensitized. I even saw a special about women on the cast of Friends and their mid 90s size versus the end of the series size. I never even noticed a difference.

Still, it's not like Kate is looking like Twiggy.

As a skinny person myself it's not easy to put on weight.

Much easier to loose it, Kate will be okay, is not like she was that big to begin with.

a picture like this, where i notice the size of her elbows and knees compared to the rest of that particular limb makes me think she is supposed to be a bit fuller.

she does manage to look quite healthy, though, so its not as if she's anorexic.
