my hair is natural too and I rock the curls sometimes... I use this product called Mixed Chicks...

Maybe I should try some of these other products... *think*

I don't know what to say about it - the first day it looks ok - but the next day it looks kinda scraggly and I don;t want to wet it every day...

I hear you on the scraggly thing. I will usually wet/spray the ends of likklegen hair in the morning with a little water and the ends will curl up and I smooth all over with the hair milk. I need something better though, like a leave in conditioner that will not leave it sticky. At night I put her hair in a high bun and it keeps it from getting tangled.

Dan's haïr has a texturizer and she also wears it curly most days - and I will wet hers a bit and then use the olive oil moisturizer to try and protect it.. but lately I have been seeing some dryness...

I was just rewatching the mixed chicks &quot;how to&quot; video and I see maybe what i've been doing wrong - I think I need to try that high ponytail like you say Gen and also mixing the product with water to spray daily...

Lets see what happens...

the pineapple is what some other people call it.

another product is curlprep I have not tried it yet but am willing to do so since some of my mocha moms daughters are featured in the video

BlackStar's recommendation of Cantu Leave in Hair conditioner works great for both girlKia and me - does not leave hair sticky. In the AM, I spritz girlKia's hair with water and we are ready to comb it in her fav style.. in one


I tried Miss Jessies curl straightening ting fi try a two strand twist. I will say that it looked ok day one but day 2 no bra.. Also it left my hair sans shine and it felt coarse and dry back to cantu for me

I managed to travel to Miami and Jamaica and did not pack a comb or brush ... only DevaCurl condition. My hair was fine, just wash, condition, finger comb, and go

Happy to report
day 1 of using Wen and my $29 was worth it.

I had curls in my hair for the first time (that I can recall) and they didnt fly out of place. I could feel it working on my scalp almost the same tingling that tea tree oil give but not not intense that my face start to burn. I get home and I am able to comb through my hair no knots and still feeling soft and light no residue. I didnt even follow the instructions completely or use all the products that came in the package and my hair hasnt felt this good in a long long time.

I didnt get big hair and I dont have to wash out gel out of my hair so I am pleased

infomercial ... but then I notice holly robinson-peet was in their ad and I decided to go check them out.

The package had the conditioner and some styling products plus a treatment (and a little goes a long way)
