ALL natraliss go siddung one side likkle bit!! well maybe oonu can tell mi the aversion to creme wen we still use roll on and facd producks an tinks dat have 'chemical'. mi still nuh undastand wat the prob is w/ lye/nolye and if it leading to kill black ooman or not.

anyhow anuh dat mi come in fi aks, wah mi really surprise bout a di numba a ppl who creme hair in 3 mont an dem ting deh!!!! a so oonu hair fragile?! or a mi one have tuff head? mi read wehere dem say u fi strtch di time b/w relaxation, but dont dat lead to more breakige?

i dont like it bone straight cause it has no body, but as long as you deep condition and treat it delicately there shouldn't be any breaking between the time yuh guh fi touchup.

when me used to creme me used to do it every six weeks. now me jus braid(aldoah dat still expensive) caw hairdo way to expensive a farrin.

IMO, the shorter your hair is, probably the more frequently you have to get touch ups. If you hair is short like Halle Berry's used to be, just a few weeks after a touch up, half of your hair would be natural and the other half relaxed. Some people find this unmanageable. If your hair is medium to long, a few weeks of new growth doesn't make that much difference in proportion to the rest of your relaxed hair.

I think getting touch ups as frequently as every three weeks is a lot. Still if your hair is not damaged and gaining length is not an objective for you, then there is no reason to change your habits.

I have a theory as to why frequent relaxer touch ups keep most women's hair from growing out as long as they would like, but I won't hijack tuffy's thread. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif[/img]

me in love wid the natural texture of my hair now, but managing it is a bit of a headache(literally) sometimes. cyaan wait fi me sisters come join me here so me can decide if I should start creming again(with their help) or me fi just locks(also with their help) and done.

I would not advice anyone to relax more often that 4 to six weeks. that will weaken ur hair unless you deeptreat everyweek.

that depend on the texture of the roots!!! [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/704555_dwl.gif[/img] wen mi did likkle, mi used to get some breed a naps!!! fahda! now it gets rough (meaning super curly and along the dry side). mi a try watch mi langwige fore dahjah and deyda natraliss dem come in and talk bout, wats wrong w/ your natral texture, why would u call it '___'

anyhow, if i was to wait too long, the contrasrt b/w the chemical american hair and di black american roots would be too drastic for public viewing pleasure.
