2 cups Water
1 Banana
1/2 tablespoon raw honey

Liquify in blender

Almond Milk
-----------
1 Part Almonds
4 Parts water

Blend. To activate almonds, soak overnight, pour off water, follow recipe
above. For a delicious smoothie add: frozen fruit or pure maple syrup.

Nut Milk
--------
A milk made from raw nuts can often be used in place of dairy milk. To make
a nut milk, liquefy one cup of blanched almonds with 4 cups of water in a
blender. Add 2 Tablespoons raw honey or pitted dates for sweetness;
decrease water for creamier milk.

Almond Milk

Start with whole almonds and soak them overnight in water. Next day,
blanch the almonds (dip in boiling water) and remove the skins (they come
right off). Puree in blender with water and maybe some sweetener and
vanilla if you like. Filter out the grit and you have almond milk. Easy!

Alternate:
I don't bother blanching the almonds after soaking overnight. I just put
them right into the blender with water and 1/2 a banana. Delishes! More
almonds and banana = thicker milk.

My daily diet mostly consist of:

natural fruit juice in the morning (apple, strawberry and orange) or (carrot, apple, a little beet and ginger) One morning I did a banana smoothie but I wasn't really feeling that first thing in the morning.

After drinking the juice I like to drink a bottle of room temperature water.

through out the morning I snack on fruits and nuts and by lunch time I eat a big salad. I make my own salad dressing with a little bit of exta virgin olive oil, some lemon juice and a dash of sea salt.

In the afternoon I snack of whatever, baby carrots, celery (which is quite filling) nuts, etc.

For dinner I have another big salad.

Today I drank a lot of water. The headaches are almost gone..didn't really feel them today but I was very sleepy.

Lost 3.4lbs already, kina worried about losing weight so fast but I was told that will only last for a little while since it's mostly water.

All in all I feel lighter, my stomach feels good and digested and I can actually see the double chin subsiding.

My new hobby is collecting raw food recipes....so if you have them, please post...greatly appreciated.

My eating plan is similar to yours in parts... but... mi really cannot do widdout di mash potato swimming in the gravy...or the chicken strips wid the salad..
Anyway, I console myself by saying that in addition to the water, fruits (papaya, strawberries, mangoes, oranges, grapefruits, bananas, plums, apples, and pineapples...) and the veggies, I really do need the protein and the little carbs....I'll be right here wid yu...God willing...

you go girl...but, mi nuh like the mash potato and gravy part Shandra...but the chicken and fish fi the protein is good. After I complete this cycle I will incorporate the fish and tofu, etc back in my diet with the greens.

Today I feel great..no headaches no flulike symtoms. I walked in the office this morning and my co-worker said I look fresh.

When I open my eyes this morning I didn't feel like taking an extra 10 mins. I was surprize at how awake and energized I was ..I got up..did my route and my body really feels different.
