Re: "To get Fit" UPDATE ..
Good stuff Cappy!
Yep I learned about the simple vs complex carbs in my Bio class and it was interesting. That is why I made a switch 11 yrs ago to wheat and stay away from white bread.
I am going to try a week without the bread and see what happens. Also how about those breakfast bars? ..like Nutrigrain.. what do you think of those? Sometimes I have one with coffee in the morning.
Another thing I have switched to and doing for 8 yrs is using Equal instead of sugar to lower my suger intake. Really and truly Cap it come in like second nature now so I can really attest that making conscious life long changes can work. It's 8 yrs now I have not useed sugar in my tea.
Thanks for the tips .. I am going to try this limit bread gig because I was able to make crucial switches before and stick with it. I am not in favor of crash diets ..I am more inclined to make switches that can be maintained for a long period of time.
BTW let me stress as Cappy said .. PLEASE DRINK UP THE WATER ALL! That is another area I improved in just by taking gradual steps in drinking more water. No I don't drink 15 gallons a day but it accompanies almost ALL my meals.
Good luck all!

.. 4 - 5 chicken sandwiches from a fast food outlet , but its not a weekly thing more biweekly or more. Why i dont have to worry about the fat content or calories then? Because i'm very active and its a continuation from yrs ago when i chose to be this way.
