[img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] The good thing about our church is that there's always something going on (concerts, special services..etc.) so I do attend alot of church social/activities and I do frequent the library quite a bit. I'm also currently in school so my dating life is pretty much non-existant right now.

I don't do casual dating (.i.e going out with this person today and then another person 2 weeks later). (Nat dat dem a knack dung mi door still...lol.) My sole purpose for dating is to end in a successful marriage so I'm very careful who I allow in my life. (Again, I haven't always been at this level)

lol...actually when I first emigrated to the US it was to New Jersey where I lived for about 10 years. My maternal grandparents were here in the Motor City by themselves so I figured I should be a little closer to them. (Nat to menshan dat mi beau at the time was living in OH.. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] ) Hence my being here in MI.

My first plane ride which was to Cuba at the age of 8. Also the birth of my sister. I'd always wanted a sister but unfortunately I had to leave 4 years later to come to the States.

Sidney Poitier. He's definitely an inspiration to me. I'm in awe of his tenacity and how he hurdled the obstacles he was faced with when he emigrated from the Bahamas back to the US.

In my family it has to be my maternal grandmother. The best way to sum her up is that without a strong educational background she knows how to make a dollar out of .15c.

Actually MG, I'm still in the process of learning what exactly the wife's role should be. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] Matter of fact, I think the husband and wife should determine, in that relationship, what their roles should be and not let society dictate to them.

That's actually one of my daily prayers - to become a suitable wife cause truss mi, dere's some tings mi haffi guh change..like learning to share mi bed. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] The kind of wife I'd like to be is one that is supportive and love unconditionally.

5. who's your favourite gospel singer?
I don't have a favourite. I'm more into the songs than the singers. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
