One of my favorite smells is that of pimento leaves. After picking them from the tree, I love to fold them and enjoy the sweet smell.

One strange smell I enjoy is that of the fires burning in the distance. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img] I know it's trash burning, but it's one of those familiar scents which reminds me that I'm back where I love to be.

the smell of a sweaty Jamaican person - it is unique.

the mixture of smell from the slaughter house, the morgue and the industrial factory on Darling St(detergents/cornmeal/toilet soap and cooconut oil from the company I use to work with)

one of my most memorable smells was going back to the country after spending time in montegobay with my father.
just stepping into that old board house and smelling the dusky smell of years of memories that it held,bliss.
its the kind of smell that linger in the memory,one that I will always treasure.

oh gosh, so many to name:

- the smell of dirt after it has rained
- smell of soup cooking (meant it was Saturday and our hairs just got washed)
- smell of someone who just came from country
- the fresh country air
- ripe mangoes
- the bakery up the street from the church
- hot tar (for some strange reason [img]/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] )
- the house up the road that use to make banana chips...mmmmmmmmmmmmm
- freshly ironed khaki uniforms
