Who has inspiried you in chosing your career path?

I have always loved science, always. When I was little I used to have all of these chemistry kits and was always playing with them. I used to mix chemicals to blow up my Barbie dolls with. I would pull off their heads, load them up with chemicals and wait for the reaction that blew their bodies apart to happen. I was always a tom boy, so playing with house with dolls was never fun for me.

What do you hope to accomplish in this chosen field?

I really don't know what I want to do. That is the honest truth. I graduate in December and then we will see what happens. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

What made you decide to join the peace corps?

Well, I have always thought there is more to life that just working and paying bills. There has to be some time in your life where you don't live just for you, just to get by, playing a role in life with no real meaning.
For me, it was about letting go of some of my selfish ways. As an American I have so many opportunites that many other people don't have, I recognize that and would like to make a part of my life about helping other people.

I was wondering if this was going to come up in any of the questions. I used to do a lot of modeling ... during my younger days when I had that sickly thin figure that models needed. I am 20 lbs heavier now than I was then... Thank God

Not at all related through smartness. Doesn't make me stupid or not smart for modeling to pay for school, just adventerous among a few other things. I had a great time and some wonderful experiences during that period of my life. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I was 16 when I left my mothers house for the first time. That was when I traveld the country from coast to coast. I have come and gone a few times, back to my mothers house, since then. I am currently staying with her.
