Do you know how long I haven’t been on public transportation…years ago, riding on the bus, there was a fella with a Mohawk, tons of piercing, ripped up jeans and a bad attitude to top it off, who kept giving me really dirty look. I felt very uncomfortable and couldn’t wait to get off the bus. Also, I recall being eight months pregnant and not getting a seat on the train. I had a long ride from Queen Street to Sheppard, so I just made myself comfortable on the floor of the train.
11. What age would you like to remain at forever? Wamek?
I haven’t gotten to that age as yet.

I will tell her the reasons why she should wait until marriage. If she insists, then there is nothing I can do about it. I will get her the pills and condoms.

I’ve been both but I’ve been mostly the chasee.

Love is my children chasing towards the front door to greet me in the evenings. Love is putting my needs aside for the needs of other. I don’t date. If I start dating, I will be dating someone who is committed to someone else. I hate being called by another woman’s name.

Right now I'm at work and Budgets are squuezing the life out of me...I've mentioned to Boss Lady how we can go about avoiding this sort of pressure but she won't listen. No wonder we're in this mess again
Anyways, we're meeting with the bigger boss tomorrow. I am thinking of 'innocently' bringing my suggestions up in that meeting. This Bigger Boss does not hesitate to say what's on her mind and Boss Lady may come away feeling 'small'. This is the third budget year I've made these suggestions. They work with all the sub-departments but Boss Lady does not want to do it - she said so herself. It's different from what she knows and she does not want to change.
What happens is that at crunchtime, I'm the one left holding the bag. Put yourself in my shoes, what would you do?
Did I mention Bigger Boss is really pleased with my performance and thinks I have very good work ethics? [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I've done it. I've said things in meetings with the bigger boss when my boss was not implementing what I suggested. But then again, today, the VP of Finance did say that no one can accuse me of being shy. Unless you don't like have lunches and you enjoy working like a dawg, you should say something. Story time again...last Thursday or Friday (can't remember which day), I was ask to stay late to get a rush contract done. I said no. I told her that they are always going to be pushing if we don't put our feet down and say no.
