Are there any lessons you've learnt? Wisdom, knowledge or insight you've gained?

For me, I've become more tolerant (thanks to the F&R forum), learnt quite a few useful nuggets about life and it has taught me how to ignore people and situations.

Same here, made me more knowledgeable, learned how to ignore some people [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] and thanks to the ackee and codfish forum learning how to cook some dishes. I still hate cooking though love baking.

I have grown a lot since being on here. I have learned how to ignore people and things. I have learned to have even more respect for other people's opinions. I have learned to disagree with people without holding a grudge.

I have gone from a right wing conservative to a right wing leberal since I started spending my time here. Maybe I'll end up becoming a left wing liberal, who knows?

I have also learned some valuable bits of information regarding visiting Jamaica over in the three travel related forums.

I have also learned that people will say things here on the internet that they would never say in person. But that may be a good thing in some cases.

I've learned to keep my opinions to myself at times, because I usually get shot down as soon as I open my keyboard on this board. But I have learned a lot about Jamaican people that hopefully will help me over in Ja.
