from my observations, it is very difficult to talk of obeah and many aspects of black culture from a european(modern) point of view. I understand why many things are left unspoken for this sake alone. Further many other things should never be told, if you fit to know, it will be revealed to you

obeah is everything that an individual needs to keep his body and mind balanced in society.
Obeah is a compound knowledge of all the sciences and can be manifested in all artforms. -

The negative connotation of obeah started with the British who sought to outlaw manifestations of African identity amongst the slaves.

Obeah is a demonic religion that uses spells and evil spirits to harm and bring misfortune on the practitioner’s enemies.
Whether it is African, Jamaican, Haitian or even Martian don’t make it any more palatable.

There are differences between crosses Sukuna, just like there's a difference between a person wearing crucifix (christ crucified) or a bare cross (christ risen). That is why I'm asking.
