Words cannot express the loss. I just can't believe tomorrow make it a year because our last conversation is still fresh in my mind. You were always an encourager and never looked at the downside. You looked for the best in people and had a heart for everyone. It still feels like yesterday and it just very difficult to express how much this loss has affected me and this site. However our loss is heaven's gain and we will meet again.

Marcia's family has always expressed that Jamaicans.com was a part of her family. Below is the memorial that will be in the papers tomorrow in Toronto.

I never knew her but the way she is talked about I believe I have come to "feel" her through all the kind tributes. I too would like to add mine through this poem.

My heart was filled with sorrow.

But when I walked through heaven's gates,
I felt so much at home.
When GOD looked down and smiled at me,
From His great golden throne,
He said "This is eternity,
And all I've promised you."
Today for life on earth is past,
But here it starts anew.

I promise no tomorrow,
But today will always last,
And since each day's the same way
There is no longing for the past.
But you have been so faithful,
So trusting and so true.
Though there were times you did some things,
You knew you shouldn't do.

But you have been forgiven,
And now at last you are free.
So won't you take my hand.
And share my life with me?
So when tomorrow starts without me,
Don't think we are far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I'm right here, in your heart.

I was a new member when she passed away. I remember reading the tributes and thinking what a nice woman she must have been to be so loved. I wish I could have known her. ((Marcia))

I remember coming to work that morning and reading it on the net it was like the breath that i had in my body froze for a quick minute. I did not know her but i fell like i did know her she will be definately be missed by me.

All thanks to God for having loaned you Marcia, to us. Many lives have been enriched for having met you both in and out of cyber world. You exemplified everything good about Jamaica, and makes me proud to be..edited to say a Jamaican. I miss you but will not mourn you for I know that you are in a better place now.

you and me both, my dear. every time i see her co-worker i remember her. every time i pop down to the second floor i remember her. every time i see or deal with a difficult poster, i remember her. every time a new topic starts Pon de Verandah i remember her. i remember her and miss her deeply.

marcia was a special combination of integrity and fun, and between those two attributes she established a standard of moderatorship that has been an invaluable guide to those who carry on that work.

her love for jamaica and for jamaicans.com were above question.
