I am seriously thinking of a move south to Canada myself. yes, I said South. The Toronto area climate is much warmer that what I'm used to!

I am wondering how many have only come here to use it's resources such as welfare and hospitalization that is so easily provided by the Democratic liberal left but is payed in full by the over taxed middle class american worker. I'm here from when I was born. Here I've fought for things I have felt strongly about on many occasions going back to the Vietnam war, Impeach Nixon, making sure when a freeway was put through our town it was done in an environmentally friendly and aesthetic to look at fashion, and many other huge battles. So, I am not a coward, what I am is sick to death of so much death and destruction and killing of innocent people/children and living in the country that is responsible for all of this and I want to leave. Period.

You're being unfair here: many middle class workers in the US are not citizens and pay just as much taxes as citizens. Remember that the majority of welfare recipients live in rural America and are unlikely to run off to Canada anytime soon.

Well my house is open. I'm serious too. I can't imagine, no wait don't want to imagine what Bush will do to the US with 4 more years to do it.

Miloman spoke the truth though we are to close to America up here and our economy is so closely linked to the Americans. already here American corporations own many of the key infrastructure maintenance companies, and utilities. Our politicians can't suck/kiss hard or fast enough.

I'm looking at New Zealand myself. Just far enough away I don't have to worry for a while. Jamaica would be nice but it's still to close to the US.

Real-estate and weather better on the west coast . But avoid Vancouver prices to high and it's a big stinky city. Think Sunshine coast or the islands. the port City of Nanaimo on Vancouver island is one of the nicest cities in Canada, cheap too.
