I am still addicted to World Service.... We lived in the hills and at night when we could aford batteries we would listen to Florids radio, Radio Rebelde, and Radio Libracion from Cuba..

Any one else use to look for a bush called Salidina.. The leaves and stems would form a soap when rubbed on a wet hard surface.. Rosemary bush when you broke the stem it produced a sap that would heal small scratches and had alergecis properties... To open a coconut you use a knife to punch through the top stem....Use Tuna cactus as shampoo.. burn the macka out of Tuna cactus and as a warm patch on swollen injuries...Hang peper rod as a natural fly repellant...

you mean yu neva cut wood buk and use as cricket ball????At the moment I cant remember the name of the tree that made the best cricket bat... it is very soft... You cut the bat shape out.. When the bat was still green it got dented so absorbed the vibration into the rough handle..

Who else would make gig.. I was in Spain last year and bout two wood gig last year..

Gigs I remember making those, but I don't remember our using wood to make the cricket ball. We were still using the milk cartons and young breadfruits at recess for balls.

Yep, I remember seeing that too but I had no idea that it was called "breadfruit fagga". Ah, the perils of being a Kingstonian \o/ We used to strip them as well, but I'd be darned if I can remember why.

It is a wild bush that grows about a foot high as the leaves mature they grow red... It has a disting aroama when cut.. peppery. I think ball plates eat the seeds...

I remeber my fatehr hands being so tough that he could pick up a live coal and carry it for ten minutes with out feeling discomfort.. once he handed me one inadvertantly..

How bout to cut a dog you take them out the yard... Pin them with a Y stick... Cut them outside the yard is they run back to the yard.. if you cut them in the yard they run away...

To castrate a cat you put them in a crocus bag then do the deed..

After each cut fill the empty sack with salt.. My father alway fed the dog its testicles after cutting it...

Once we cut a pig and we ate the testicle after wards.. that was bizzare... We never cut a rooster but my fater told me it coud be done... Wonder how he would have done that....
