However inveighing against the IMF is foolish because again the IMF loans were just a minor part of Jamaica's loan portfolio.
The other thing is Farmer Workers have been slaving in Canada long before Jamaicans ever heard of the IMF.

Even without an IMF loan program the Jamaican Government would still be send Jamaicans these indentured workers program.

I know a few guys on the program...been comming for between 14 and 24 years ...i dont think they care about the status of the IMF and Jamaica...

Why is Jamaica sending these men/women to this program? It's slavery! The Foreign Worker program is a big cover up for the IMF and for other debts.

I don't know why! We have many Black and Jamaican associations in Canada, however I don't know why the issue has not been taken up. I heard it about briefly and that was it. I had this conversation the other day with a well known Black Jamaican activist in Toronto. He seemed clueless as to why nothing had been done regarding the suspicious death of the Jamaican farmer. Keep in mind this is a well known activist in Toronto! Go figure!

I will keep my comments to myself regarding Blacks in Canada. When I think of Black people in my city I think of these three words "sleeping,selfish and misinformed"

TG...the Worker was crushed in 2002....there is a organizatin fighting for rights of Migrant workers..i cant find any update on the Peart case.
