Okay Blue...phew!!! Okay now I have turned off the stereo. Yes...honestly speaking, I believe the gesture is a good one and opens the way for more and more people to follow suit. Regardless of Ethiopia's political situation, it's poverty, wars etc. the children are being neglected and at least someone acknowledges this. It is one way for them to help their children by allowing outsiders to adopt.

As to the moral question my dear that is a dark horse that wars have been waged over. And I can tell you one thing, it is going to get worse befoe it gets better.

I can almost safely say though that even if Ms. Jolie won't be there to be the kind of nurturing mother more fortunate children have, at least those children will have a flying chance over and above the population from where they originated. I believe that God does take care of His own, and that He uses all kinds of people and situations to provide help for them. So I am not about to give credit to Angelina alone, God is in the mix.

Blu.. i agree surely that it is in the best interst of a nation to protect and provide for their youth.... but given the fact that ideal is not met so many places in the world....any help.. miniscule or not is better than a turned head...

what makes someone qualified to love.. provide and parent...
