what she said revealed her thaught processes and how she really feels about Jamaican people. She was shown up and instead of dealing with it she cries foul.

i try to be honest as best i can.. and careful how i say things.. so as not to ever offend anyone.. i admitted that my delivery might have been lacking.. i was at work.. had to write quickly.... others tried to clarify what i was trying to say...and they did a good job. it didnt need to go further..... we could have moved on to another level.... rather than a character assasination..

i got caught up in the negativity..my fault... because i was upset with the way this thread was going.. and that i was adding to its direction..... i didn't dare try to reiterate what i was trying to say because maybe id dig myself further in a hole..

Your apology was not accepted because like you've stated; you learned nothing and so will change nothing.
what you should do is be adult enough to stand behind your opinions and defend/explain them when they are found questionable, instead of trying to tar people who show you up.

No matter what side of the issue you come down on, it's interesting to see the inside scoop on the adoption process. In this case, it happens to be two gay guys who are trying to adopt an A/A baby ... here's a link to their blog. this is a raging debate on another forum that I frequent. The original poster captioned the picture "disturbing image" .. He/she posted this picture on his/her thread about gay white males adopting african american children.

What I'm unsure of is whether this picture is of the guys who are trying to adopt and their existing family or just the poster's representatation of a family [img]/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] . However, it was listed with the link so ...

We know who BND is and we know that she is not wrong. Even if she was wrong, she exhibited qualities beyond the hard and tough-backed Pinki by apologizing.
What is absolutely nasty is the unacceptance of an apology.
Our Jamaican broughtuppsy taught us in the mold of the living Christ to forgive. If we cannot forgive, we are condemned to a miserable and lonely life. If we are not Christians, the heart that beats in our chests always allows us to bend our mean and stubborn ways and forgive those who have offended us. Especially where apology was offered.
