I am not a great storyteller but will just share my experience of the bashment.

Meeting Grandma at the airport was an adventure in itself! Mi stan up at the terminal gate a stare pon de monitor and a watch de info bout a flight.. It said 'on time' fi de longest while.. then it disappeared

Mi call BND fi let ar know seh it look like G2 lost.. and mi will call ar wid updates as mi get dem.

Mi quick quick run and go contact de gate agent who tell mi seh de plane deh pon de ground but no reach de gate as it a wait fi gate fi clear.

mi deh a wait wait but sayka mi did drink one coffee deh a starbucks de restroom deh a call mi name.... and haf course de minute mi go de bachroom she mussi did walk pass mi.

now much relieved and happier, mi go dung a baggage claim and immediately we recognize we one annada. Nuff hug up nuff nuff chat as G2 pick up har red luggage offa de carousel.

We a chat and a catch up and when we reach de cyar fi lift de luggage G2 wonda how de bag feel/look different dan de one she checked it. A noh fi ar bag!!!!! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/704555_dwl.gif[/img]

wi prips wiself and walk walk back to de terminal, thru de door dem, up de escalata, down de hall back to de carousel and g2 quick & stealthily fling de luggage pon de carousel... bout 4 people down we see one man a pick up de luggage wid a smile of relief pon im face [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

mi spot one next red bag bout haff de size a de odda one and walk ova to it. G2 confirm seh a fi ar and now we really go on wi way to de handoff location inna NY.

It was such a pleasure meeting all of you at the bash. First bashment for me, but definately not the last. Thank you to Nina and her men for your wonderful hospitality. Your yard is amazing. I had a great time, but how come I'm not smiling in any of those pics [img]/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] You guys had me cracking up all day. Especially loved G2's "secret suss".

I had a bag mix up like G2 on a trip to Jamaica. Glad I figured it out before we left Sangsters b/c it was a man's bag and I would have been mad if he got my 12 pairs of shoes, and I ended up w/ his jockey shorts.

Fast forward to Satideh

I was responsible for bringing the fruit salad. G2 told me to mek it when I reach Nina. My husband had an appt so we could not leave as early as desired. By the time we dug up a few bamboo trees for Nina I thought we were going to dig up one of each type, and by the time I went to pick up the fruit and came back de truck back filled with bamboo , packed & dropped the children off with relatives for the day, it was mid afternoon by the time we arrived at Nina's
