By the way, on a topic not at all related to this one, I thought of you the other day. Reds best friend was staying with us a few weeks ago. He was sitting outside on our deck and he said, out of the blue, how strange it was to look around and not see any mountains. He said in Jamaica the mountains are every place you look, it isn't something you really even notice until you aren't in Jamaica anymore. It sounded along the lines of something you might say.

was it s-t-r-e-t-c-h who made that comment? [img]/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] yes, i've said things like that. although i think most jamaicans feel the mountains without articulating it.
