I went to several proms (I'm blond, so popular w/ the fellas), and I must say prom is over rated. Dressing up was fun, but my dates were usually a nightmare. Ended up spending most of my time w/ my twin brother and friends. Glad I had the expereince, but don't want to re-live it.

best friend. she was pretty and blonde. so she was the bait we used to get older guys to go to the liquor store and buy us liquor. then we'd drink and drive around in a silver vw beetle. sometimes we drove all over people's front yard. in the summer we'd cut school and just hang out at another girl's pool smoke weed and drop acid. she later had a coke stroke.

Well, there you go. That explains why my red-haired friend and my brunette self had to settle for drinking lemon extract (high alcohol content) mixed with OJ to get drunk in HS days. If only we'd figured out we needed blonde bait [img]/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] .

Seeit deh....what have I been saying all along. Dem neveh even FART pon me and the few other Black girls who were around.

I bet you there isn't a blonde in HISTORY who has missed her prom unless she was HORRIBLY ugly.

Guess I am the only one who is still bitter about all of this. Nice to know the rest of onoo so well adjusted and emerged completely unscathed from these experiences.

we ugly duckling girls use to get her to hitch hike too. we'd stand in the bus shelter and act like we weren't with her. naturally when the car stopped to pick her up, and they usually did, we'd all pile in the car. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/704555_dwl.gif[/img]

Yeah I remember I used to refer to my sister and myself as the "ugly Tropicana sisters". Still do sometimes.

nay ha no prom we had Ball
it was very nice
teh day before the graduating class went to the beach and then the next day we had our ball at a club we rented
We had a band called Jah Children which was very good

I've never been to a prom, and I wasn't ugly atall. I just wasn't interested. But, I will admit it was one of MY older friends who would go buy me and my girlfriends liquor!
