I agree with Hova. They should have made another song. We Are the World was specifically for the famine relief in Africa 20 odd years ago. Dem coodan be likkle more creative and come up with something new specfically fi Haiti....Look how many ppl artistes all over the world did just that.

I like it. Otherwise it's the same old words that don't make much sense when you listen closely.
The rap part distinguishes this version as the Haitian one, and it acts as a bridge to the finale.

The French did what appears to be their version.
It sound alright apart from the French.

Dat sounded kool .. It funny how it is a french effort but yuh si a mix of Latin, R&amp;B, hip hop and reggae. Music really unite culturals doesn't it?

Well, to give them credit....they did have Edith Piaf. (And now Carla Bruni-Sarkozy.... ).

But hey! They had Serge Gainsbourg! I still have the casette of his first reggae album.... super sexy, reggae in french. a whole different bag to jamaican.....

I am still biased to the original 'We are the World', even though in this one they span the generations of artists; IMO, this variety made it enjoyable.

This was definitely targeting a wide range of audience, including the rap audience. The rap was okay..did not mind it at all..

The only thing: What the heck was Wyclef doing?
