Di people dem nuh nyam moutain chicken anymore. Apparently the "chickens" have some disease and they are dying out [img]/forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif[/img]. In any case, the eating of mountain chicken was done mostly in the rural areas. The young people dem nuh want fi eat no moutain chicken..an mi nuh wrang dem. When I was there, plenty people have the ackee tree a dem yawd and dem love it. It's the curried goat they have a problem with.

Hi BND: I've never been there but I work with a man who has traveled the world over and all the islands of the caribbean and he says that's his favorite, second favorite being St. Lucia. You go girl, if you go...can't wait to hear your report and especially those lovely photos when you get back. I'm headed to St. John next spring, I'm curious about other islands too.
