Borica Papi the Vatican has condemn same sex union as deviant and a threat to society. Why they never condemn homosexuals as deviants is because too many of the priest are homosexuals.

The main point that Cardinal is making is that the Church reject homosexuality and not homosexuals.

Why is it that the Cardinal is being attacked for taking a stand against homosexuality? I find it refreshing that The Cardinal is willing to take a stand against homosexuality. Why do we find it easier to attack the messenger than the message?

This is contradictory. It's just like a muslim/Islamic guy told me today. There's a difference in Christian and Christianity. Cho! Christian is the person , he says. Christianity is the religion. Simply put, a Christian is a person who practice Christianity. Plain and simple that.

So a homosexual is a person that practice homosexuality. One and the same and both should be condemned/rejected! How can you be a homosexual if you don't commit homosexuality? This is only an "out of the side of the mouth" way to accept these group of people. Love the sinner but hate the sin and condemn it!! Even if it is a so-called priest ( small p).

nature abhors a virgin. the vatican worships one.

there are more homosexuals in nature than there are virgins. i would say this makes the priests and ultra-religous the kings of the deviants.

and thats not even counting the diddlers in their midst (not that there's anything *wrong* with being a virgin, mind you...)

you are partly correct.

The term faggot or fagot, meaning bundle of sticks, shows up around 1300 in English. It almost certainly came from Old French, possibly going back to Greek phakelos. Since those bundles of sticks were mainly used for fires, it's not surprising that the term came to mean burning sticks. Then there was that nasty business in medieval times where heretics were burned at the stake. Some later cites indicate heretics who repented and were spared a fiery death had to wear a picture of a faggot on their sleeve to show what might have been their fate. But no print evidence exists that homosexuals were referred to as faggots before the twentieth century, with the origin definitely in the U.S., not Britain...
