The promise of LIFE ...(Gen: 1)
The promise of HUMANITY... (Gen: 1-2)
The promise of SEX ... (Gen: 2)
The promise of KNOWLEDGE ... (Gen: 3)
The promise of DEATH ... (Gen: 3-4)
The promise of THE SON ... (Gen: 3)

My assurance and I don't know the chapter and verse is I know the plans I have made for you. plans to prosper and not to harm you. plans to gow and give you peace.

I went to a service once and the pastor said when people ask you how are you doing and you answer I'm hanging in there. You are biblicly incorrect. Only Jesus hung in there, he hung on the cross. Now when people ask me how I am doing I stop and say I'm being up held. People took at me and so "what", I say I'm being up held by the ever loving arms of God. He said I will hold you in the palm of My hand. What a wonderful way to spred His message. Try it. How are you doing? I'm being upheld, by the everloving arms of God.
