A particular ploy by one denomination is to offer money for anyone finding a Bible verse showing where the sabbath day was changed from Saturday to Sunday. Another is to find the word Trinity or rapture in the Bible.

We can so phrase questions, that the discussion is completely senseless because of our own particular peeve, with scripture and in particular Christianity.

Yes, you may deny it, but this has little to do with bible verses and much with what Britisha has so easily unearthed; your disgust with christianity.

Jesus in the bible had to regularily answer questions from the Saducees and the Pharisees on the intent of their question and this he did by either answering their questions with a question, or addressing the real motive in their hearts.

So I will ask you and your disciples a question.

Did God create Adam and Eve slaves to each other or to him?

Did he live off the rewards of their labour?

Were they free to act against his will?

Were the animals created as slaves for men?

What was the original state of man and woman in the Garden of Eden, slave or free?

If God created men free, who made them slaves? God?

Seems to me the original plan was freedom, was not that God's plan all along?

Not so sure I get you on that. I notice when christian centred persons have no answers they revert to saying that they are under attack. I HAVE NO DISGUSS WITH CHRISTIANITY. I find it necessary when no other religions are available [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Accepted, forgive me, but I will use your last post to drive home some points. While we do not have all the answers to everything, these debates go off tangent and the cyberposter comes under scrunity based on what he/she posts. sukuna chooses to bring them under attack. She called me a drinker in soo many words..."drunk tooo much whites eh" (Condoleeza Rice), "bushes miss rice" "a slave" and (indirectly ) "a wild let go beast" a basher of black people, and even an "informer"..... and now, asking if britisha is "playing Jesus".. This is sick, sick, sick.....Does this contribute to intelligent discussion?

While I am in no position to pass judgement on anyone, *I* am of the opinion that she harbors some deep-seated guilt with regards to her grandmother, combined with hate for white people; the origin of her problem stemming from her relationship with her grandmother whom she decribed as a "racist" and her treatment towards sukuna. This grandmother she claimed was also a christian in the church.

She seemingly combines this hate for white people with Christianity since her grand mother whom she claimed was a christian mistreated her in the churchalso. Now she also claimed that her grandmother was a obeah woman also. One could therefore conclude based on what she has stated that she grew up in an environment from a tender age where confusion was the norm, so we must forgive her and see with her for she is obviously confused. Not wanting to totally be guilty of hating her grandmother, she chooses to preserve her gandmother's' belief in obeah; something which is totally her perogerative in the same way that those who choose christianity as a religion it is totally their perogerative and not that of any OTHER.

On second thought, in saying "too much whites eh", she was using semantic tricksplaying on the word "whites"....not white rum, but drinking white philosophy, she talked about me being in my "new skin" meaning that I have changed from black to white. She talked about "touching the hem of Jesus' white garment"...[mi did halways tink seh it was more of a dusky grey....Laaawd....you can figgah hout dis wan] as opposed to black and even made mention of a hymn one line which reads "whiter than snow." [Lord wash me and I shall be whiter than snow}....totally out of touch with the fact that the hymn is by analogy, referring to the SOUL, tainted by sin, and not the SKIN color of the person. A very sick preoccupation with black and white, so preoccupied that it sends her into delusion.

Not only a deep-seated hatred for christianity is revealing itself more and more but also a deep-seated hatred for white people and anything white for that matter, [how sad] so much that her eyes are blinded by the fact that black on black slavery is also wrong and should be addressed and eradicated, but is has carding to har, "well developed and sophisticated." Mek mi quickly throw een dat christianity taught people to love, even their enemies...something which is very hard to do, but possible.!!!

[re-look at how she described her grandma] This is why it is important that parents be careful what they teach their children and HOW they teach their children, for some of these childhood experiences can influence their lives, sometimes forever.....leaving them wid hole eap a baggage to carry in life.
