Re: Who were the Canaanites?
The Canaanites appear to have been the ring leaders of perverse behavior in the area Sukuna. The Egyptians, as well as other nations, borrowed practices from the Canaanites. In fact, while I have no proof of this, the Phoenicians are said to have spread the idea of human sacrifice to other nations as far away as Mexico. These may indeed be the very "flat nosed" sailors who sailed upon the Central American shores and left their mark behind on the culture and certain mysterious monuments such as these which obviously do NOT have Central American features:
As mysterious as they (the Olmecs [probably the very same Phoenicians]) came, it's as myterious as they left. Modern archaeology barely know ANYTHING about them and it's to them the Mayans owe much of their unexplained and unexpected knowledge of the stars and math.
